Done over clothing, this massage style looks like Thai, feels like Shiatsu, incorporates posture, symptoms, and goals. Intended to feel pleasant and beneficial, I depend on your active feedback to calibrate techniques to your comfort.


Life Support

Trauma-informed, Hypnosis-based Coaching for improving relationship with self, others, thoughts, time, environment. This can include coaching in ergonomics, movement, relating, stress management, mindfulness, and nonsexual intimacy practices to name a few examples.

Postural and positioning elements can also be done virtually via video call.

Tanya is a Registered Massage Therapist as defined by the Ministry of Health in Ontario, Canada.

Training milestones: Registration with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario, 2018

2-year (2200 hour) Diploma in Massage Therapy from Kikkawa ICT College, Toronto campus. Course work included anatomy, pathophysiology, clinical assessment and treatment, research literacy, and additional techniques such as myofascial release, Thai Massage, and Suikodo (Neuroplastic Massage technique) in addition to the usual swedish and petrissage repertoire.

Over 200 supervised general and specialized clinic hours including clients in wheelchairs, without speech capability, and neuropathology.

I have also completed the following unregulated yet invaluable training

Pendotion™ Fascial Movement certified movement coach 2017 and 2018 trained by founder, Charlene Sullivan (mainfitness.ca) - restorative movements and positions + theory and research behind them Introduction to Shiatsu Massage, 2008 with Snjezana Pruginic-Delgado (basic techniques and positioning practiced on the floor using mats)

Tanya is also a Certfied Master Hypnotist (2009, Ontario Hypnosis Centre) with Trauma-Informed Certification (Alyson Quin) and course The Art and Science of Relationiships (Professor Ka Tat Tsang, University of Toronto).

Big thanks to my very first teachers/clients who continue to educate me in every aspect of movement, biomechanical maintenance, tension release, and even boundaries: cats and dogs. They don’t hesitate to let me know how they feel, they have no shame about their bodies or how they move, and they use some of the most effective movement techniques I have ever seen.
